Uptime.com mobile application

We needed to reduce friction
The mobile app initially served the basic purpose of alerting but had some frictions to go through on critical paths. It was important to also update and polish its visual design to enable more trust in its usability.

Focus on function and critical information
We focused on updating the mobile app into a utility-based supporting app for the larger web app and providing enough functionality and context for necessary action.

Team & role
Being the sole designer on the team, I worked closely with the founders, product head, development team and customer success team.

I designed a new version of the mobile app and a mobile Design System for Uptime.com. The design of this mobile application enables users to:

Track uptime of their services
View all the monitoring checks and its configurations created to track uptime
Get notified as soon as a check is down
Analyse locations from which the check has failed
Pause / Resume monitoring checks
View Response-Time data
